Japanese-Influenced Kitchen
DeWitt Designer Kitchens
Studio City, CA
Designer: Elina Katsioula-Beall, CKD
Design Notes: To reflect the traditional aspects of Japanese architecture in this kitchen, the homeowners started with a ceremonial drape as the focal point. From there, the designer guided them to the Blue Bahia granite countertop and blue glass tile backsplash, distressed acacia wood flooring, imported Japanese hardware and shoji-like cabinet doors.
Products and Materials: Thermador appliances; Walker Zanger tile; BenchMark alder cabinets; Native Trails antique copper Cantina and Farmhouse sinks.
